Being billed for a canceled subscription
The charge for Acorn canceled subscription is months now still on my credit card. And by the way, Acorn disconnected my call after a long wait time with no call back.
I will never add auto billing to a subscription again. Very disappointed in Acorn and Roku as you can't reach either.

Miss information between Prime and Acorn, still unresolved. All I wanted to do was pay for annual subscription, easy, but not!!! Acorn said Prime could arrange this, Prime couldn't, they could only do monthly, they suggested I return to Acorn, due to time difference it isn't easy to get through, I am in UK, it would be great if Acorn had UK customer service centre.
I cannot find a UK customer service phone number, calling US not knowing your time difference isn't helpful. I wanted to register for annual membership, I'm seriously thinking about how wise this is after my experience today, a call back would be helpful or give me a UK number

Only have two devices out of four allowed on the account.
Says too many devices when l try to log on. Really has me pissed off.
This keeps up I'm canceling. Only had for less than a month.

Never could pull up the shows i wanted, even though they were currently on Acorn.
Also, tried to call their customer service account to cancel--would Not allow me to speak with a person--said I had to do online.
That is unacceptable!!!

I wanted to cancel my subscription cause I have too many streaming services

Once I called Acorn the service was great, pleasant and seamless

Unable to cancel account, their link on the website doesn't work. Repeated emails to support result in identical response that the ticket has been resolved but nothing changes and I get charged again after these repeated requests and assurance that cancellation was resolved.

Calling acorn consumer number only gave a message of being closed.going online got me the help needed

I am writing to address an issue concerning my Acorn TV subscription.
On July 9th, 2019, I submitted a cancellation request for my Acorn TV subscription. I received an email confirmation of the cancellation, Subject: Your Acorn TV Subscrip Has Been Canceled, and the statement, "We're sorry to see you go!"
To my dismay, upon recent scrutiny of my financial statements, I discovered that despite the cancellation on July 9th, 2019, my credit card has continued to be charged $6.99 monthly.
This unauthorized deduction has persisted for fifty-four months, resulting in a cumulative charge of $377.46.
Considering the circumstances above, I formally demand a full refund of the total amount of $377.46.
Please initiate the necessary steps to process the refund at your earliest convenience. I expect the reimbursement to be credited promptly to the original payment method.
Please acknowledge receipt of this letter and inform me of the actions taken to address this issue.
I am prepared to escalate this matter to relevant consumer protection agencies or legal authorities to seek a solution if necessary.

Couldnt get app to download despite multiple tries by multiple people plus calls to Acorn reps. The install kept going straight to cancel, even with the Acorn rep on phone with me.
